Yes, The Wakkie Ink Co hold a tattooing licence at 8b High Street, Ludgershall.  As a licence holder the premises are inspected annually by an enforcement officer.

A copy of our licence is in the studio, should you wish to view please ask a member of staff.

Most payment methods are acceptable, please ask Jo.

Some people describe the pain as a pricking sensation. Others say it feels like bee stings or being scratched. A thin needle is piercing your skin, so you can expect at least a little pricking sensation. As the needle moves closer to the bone, it may feel like a painful vibration.  Our advice would be to start small and see how you go.

It is against the law to tattoo a person who is under the age of 18. No-one can provide any sort of consent. If a tattoo artist carries out a tattoo on a person who is under 18, the tattoo artist could face a fine of up to £1000 and could be at risk of losing their registration.

Yes at least a xx% deposit has to be placed at the time of booking the appointment.  We want to make it clear that refunds for cancelled appointments are not available. When you book an appointment with one of our artists, we reserve time specifically for you and turn away other potential clients. As a result, we require a deposit to secure your appointment, which is non-refundable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you give us at least 72 hours’ notice so that we can try to fill the spot with another client.

Ideally please come alone, however should you feel you need someone with you, they are not allowed in the tattooing area, we have a small waiting area where they can wait for you.

Please note that children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the shop at any time.

At the end of the appointment, the artist will go through the best aftercare programme with you.

Please bring snacks/lunch/drinks. We have Wi-Fi in the studio so bring some headphones and get comfy.
